Curious about what Dharma Dreams Vocational Center has to offer?


Join us for a free, interactive experience designed to introduce young adults ages 18–26 and their families to our unique approach to vocational training.


At Dharma Dreams, we believe learning a trade is about much more than developing technical skills. Our holistic approach combines hands-on training in painting and landscaping with opportunities to strengthen communication, confidence, emotional regulation, problem-solving, and essential life skills.


Whether you're exploring opportunities for yourself, your young adult, or someone you support, we'd love to welcome you!


Choose Your Experience


Tuesday, November 17 | Landscaping


Roll up your sleeves and explore the world of landscaping! Participate in introductory hands-on activities while discovering how practical work experiences can help develop valuable technical, interpersonal, and workplace skills.


Wednesday, November 18 | Painting


Pick up a brush and discover the possibilities! Experience introductory painting activities while exploring how hands-on learning can help build confidence, independence, attention to detail, and teamwork.


You're welcome to register for one day or both!


Daily Schedule

  • 9:00 AM: Welcome and Introduction
  • 9:30–11:30 AM: Hands-On Trade Activities
  • 11:30 AM–12:15 PM: Lunch and Social Time
  • 12:15 PM: Meditation and Mindfulness
  • 1:00 PM: Meet Our Leadership Team, Program Presentation and Q&A


Lunch is on us! Pizza, subs, snacks, and water will be provided.


What Should You Wear?


We encourage participants to dress comfortably and be ready to get involved!


  • Landscaping Day: Comfortable clothing suitable for outdoor activities, sturdy closed-toe shoes, and a jacket or layers appropriate for November weather.
  • Painting Day: Comfortable clothing you don't mind getting a little paint on, along with closed-toe shoes.
  • Both Days: Avoid sandals or open-toe footwear. Long hair should be tied back when participating in hands-on activities.


No prior experience is necessary. Just bring your curiosity and willingness to explore something new!


Who Should Attend?


Young adults ages 18–26 interested in exploring hands-on vocational training, along with parents, caregivers, educators, and other individuals supporting their transition into adulthood.


You are welcome to participate in the full experience or join us for the afternoon presentation and Q&A to learn more about our programs.


This event is completely FREE!
